Peer Review Policy
The Journal of Applied AI and Interdisciplinary Computing (JAAIIC) follows a double-blind peer review process to ensure the integrity, fairness, and quality of its publications.
1. Review Process
- All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening for scope, originality, and adherence to author guidelines.
- Manuscripts passing the screening are assigned to at least two independent expert reviewers.
- Both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other during the review process (double-blind).
2. Reviewer Selection
- Reviewers are selected based on subject expertise, research experience, and absence of conflicts of interest.
- Invitations are sent with the manuscript title and abstract; reviewers must accept before accessing the full paper.
3. Review Criteria
- Originality and significance of the research
- Clarity of presentation and logical structure
- Appropriateness of methodology and data analysis
- Validity of results and soundness of conclusions
- Contribution to the field and interdisciplinary relevance
4. Timeline
- Initial Editorial Decision: Within 7 days of submission
- Reviewer Assignment: Within 3 days after editorial check
- Review Period: 3–4 weeks
- Final Decision: Within 1 week after reviews are received
5. Decision Categories
- Accept without revision
- Accept with minor revisions
- Major revisions required (resubmission for review)
- Reject
